Designers London // Day 2 : Tuesday

Tuesday .

Hey There!

Today's mission was to explore the West End and Mayfair. As this area is very affluent, we visited various high-end retail stores and galleries.

We started off by hopping off to Soho to visit a few galleries and shops.

...................................................................................................................................................................

Our first gallery was called Art Republic and hosted artists such as Bansky (prints), Ben Erne and Peter Blake.

Lidia De Pedro - Eating Machine

Peter Blake - Laurens

Ben Erne - Twenty First Century City

Geraldine Swayne - Moody Child

Up next came the Lomography Shop with it's amazing set up and camera collection!

The last gallery before lunch was the Riflemaker gallery which was hosting mostly art by the artist Josephine King

Here are also a few of the other pieces of art you could find at the gallery that day :

We then stopped at Fernandez&Wells for a quick but delicious sandwich and lemonade (or ginger beer depending on the mood!) while enjoying the Soho architecture.

Our next stop was the Burberry Flagship store with it's gigantic building, grandiose set up and impressive technology (in collaboration with Apple).

The next store we went to was Maison Martin Margiela but, unfortunately, we were not authorized to take any pictures. So I just have the small cards they give you to spray perfume on...

Our next stop was the very fancy Opera Gallery. (Being curated by a french man, a lot of the people working there were speaking french).

Frederico Uribe - The turn of the screw

Mc Crow - bondage to the war machine

Nick Gentry - Truthless 2013

and we finished off at Dover Street Market which is part of Comme des Garรงon and the Louis Vuitton private library but, yet again, we were not aloud to take pictures.

Anyway, that's it for today!
